The Survivors Project

The Survivors Project

"Survivors" is an appropriate term for those rare small-town buildings from 75-150 years ago, that are still standing in their original form. I find so many of them to be beautiful if not elegant in their design and construction. Some of these buildings are nothing more than simple little structures like utility sheds. Others were much more important in their day, such as banks, homes or municipal buildings. Great architecture should be respected, and this series is my way of paying some respect to the designers of seemingly mundane structures found across America, as these structures have proven their worth by standing the test of time. If you have a soft spot in your heart for nostalgia like I do, you'll enjoy these images of great little buildings. These too are available only as limited edition prints.
